You send me email or message in instagram with attached photo or few photos of the artwork or artworks you like from the gallery.

We discuss the size, color palette, design, shell diversity included on the basis of existing artworks, the price, the shipping price for your address for the desired size of artwork.

I confirm that I have all the needed shells (some of them are more rare, and I can or can’t source them depending on my current location), or offer you some other options.

We confirm the timing.  If I am not working on some project and not sailing- it usually takes me around 10-14 days to make a big circle (40cm diameter), 14-20 days to make extra big circle (60cm diameter). If I am busy at the moment- I offer you other dates options.

Once design, timing, price and shipping costs confirmed- I ask you to make a prepayment 50% of artwork price.

Some days later ( around 6 days- for a big circle and 10-12 days for extra big circle) I send you pictures of draft design. Draft design is a «raw» compilation of shells, with visible design, color palette and diversity of species. It just gives the general picture of what you can expect. Some little changes can be discussed and made at this stage.

I glue the shells, it takes few more days.

I take pictures and short videos of finished artwork and send them to you.

I pack the artwork extremely carefully in kind of styrofoam layered cake style crate. You can see how it usually looks in F.A.Q. page, where I explain everything about packing and shipping process.

I send artwork on confirmed date to your address via UPS or DHL courier.

You receive artwork, carefully unpack, keeping the original packaging, so you can use it to bring it to your local framing shop. It is important, as the artwork is fragile, so the original packaging will help you to bring it to framer’s undamaged.
